The brown cow inn is a welcoming cosy country pub nestled on the west coast of cumbria, in a convenient location on the A595 around 3 miles south of Ravenglass, the brown cow inn is a delightful place to be with very friendly hosts who are happy to welcome you all to our beautiful inn.
Throught the summer of 2022 we will be open every day 10am-9pm serving wonderful food with something to suit everyone of your needs, our bar is open daily 10am-11pm

What can we say our menu is very vast with a little something for everyones needs serving breakfast 10am-12pm, lunch 12pm-3pm and of coure evening meals 3pm-9pm daily.

To ensuring we keep our food top quality we use only the best local suppliers from award winning butchers R B WOODALLS of Waberthwaite, Lake district lobster & seafood ulverston, MCclures of Windermere for all food supplies.
We use suppliers such as Rijo for our fabulous coffee, Carlsberg-Marstons & other local suppliers for some real stunning range of real ales which won us the award for camra pub of the season Autumn 2018.
